I teach leadership and ethics at Andrews University. I am a Seventh-day Adventist eager for the Second Coming of Christ and positive about His judgment hour work (Rev 14:6-12). I use that reality to understand morality and ethics.

  1. Great thoughts, Duane. I think many of our tribe are nervousness about Adventistism being put under the magnifying glass should Dr. Carson choose to run for a political office. How would an Adventist relate to presidential duties when it comes to Sabbath keeping? I say that it’s a good thing that the Bible doesn’t touch on that issue in detail in the story of Daniel. It leaves room for us to believe that when God is in control we don’t have to be worried about the magnifying glass.
